The Lune collection originates from an archive drawing of a necklace made by Roger Mathon, founder of the House. From this archive drawing, Mathon Paris has created 6 pieces of jewelry on the theme of the moon. For the creation of this line, the House played with the textures of gold and the contrast brought by lacquer and precious stones. The pieces highlight the multiple phases of the moon as it moves through its cycle. The moon's cycle begins here with a full moon in yellow gold set with blue sapphires. The size of the beads decreases as the phases of the moon follow one another, ending with a pear-shaped diamond highlighted by a border of blue lacquer
