The sculptural shape of this ring is created by two elegantly curved forms arching over the finger. The lower curved shape has a Florentine finish an ancient skill of hand engraving which imbues the platinum with a subtle satin sheen. This provides a perfect foil for the higher curve which is intricately set with mixed sized sapphires that graduate in colour and intensity as they curl around the finger. 

Drawing inspiration from a variety of places, from sculpture, nature and architecture Liv’s real focus is on abstraction and simplification playing with contrasts. Texture adds another layer to Liv’s work:
