SAGA OF SENSES
Jewellery as a poem, a book, a voyage, an experience.
That's what came to me when I met Antonio and his creations.
Passionate about life and all grand and infinite, he is creator by excellence.
Antonio Seijo is a Spanish jeweler born in Jerez, hailing from a dynasty of
jewelers rooted in Andalusia since the 19th century. Antonio studied
philosophy and languages in Geneva, travelled the world in search of
inspiration and obtained a degree in Gemology in GIA New York.
Today he runs two exquisite showrooms in Marbella & Geneva, his favorite
cites to live and create.
Seijo's approach to jewelry design is deeply philosophical and symbolic,
drawing inspiration from a diverse array of themes such as ancient Egypt,
mythology, fairytales, and cosmos. His distinctive style is masterfully
executed, creating a recognizable aesthetic that showcases his artistry.
Seijo's creations are pieces with "soul," as he describes it, objects that
communicate through shape and color.
Antonio’s creative process is cyclical, with his writing and jewelry design
influencing each other. He approaches his work with a sense of nostalgia,
looking to the past to reinvent himself for the future, creating his own
artistic saga. This interplay between literature and jewelry design sets
Seijo apart in the world of fine jewelry.
In 2021, Antonio Seijo published a book of the same name which explores
the stories and legends behind his creations at Éditions du Regard.
